Recently, China's LNG carrier industry has made a number of important achievements.
Hudong-Zhonghua set a new record for annual LNG ship delivery
Recently, Hudong-Zhonghua delivered the 174,000 cubic meters of large liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier "Heletan" built for Qatar Energy LNG Company.
This is the seventh LNG ship delivered by the company this year, once again setting a new record for the annual delivery of LNG carriers by Chinese shipbuilders. Before the end of the year, the company will also deliver 1 LNG ship, which is also the 8th LNG ship delivered this year, and the record of annual LNG ship delivery by Chinese shipbuilders is expected to be refreshed again.
China's first large-scale Mark III Flex thin-film LNG carrier was named and delivered
Recently, Jiangnan Shipbuilding delivered China's first large-scale Mark III Flex thin-film LNG carrier "AL SHELILA" built for ADNOC L&S, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
This ship type is the first generation of 175,000 cubic meters of MARK III Flex thin-film LNG carrier independently developed and designed by Jiangnan Shipbuilding. The ship has a total length of 298.5 meters, a width of 46 meters, a depth of 26.5 meters, and a design draft of 11.5 meters.
Through the development and smooth delivery of the ship, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has established a complete Mark III thin film LNG carrier technology, construction method, quality, management and HSE system, which has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction and delivery of the ship and the undertaking of new ship orders.
The localized Yin tile components of China's LNG carrier cargo tank have passed the professional appraisal
In the on-site investigation, experts and guests came to the Yin tile component workshop to check in detail the whole process of domestic Yin tile components from filming, cutting, folding, production, etc., and inspected the finished products of the national Yin tile pipe, trihedra and bihedral body.
In recent years, Baowu Special Metallurgy has joined hands with Hudong-Zhonghua to devote itself to the mass production and research and development of LNG marine thin-film invar steel, and has obtained GTT's comprehensive certification for material performance and quantity control after multiple rounds of rigorous testing and repeated adjustment and optimization of the production line process, becoming the second qualified supplier in the world that can supply marine invar steel.
Dalian Shipbuilding 200,000 cubic meter LNG carrier was approved by the International Classification Society AIP
Recently, the 200,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier independently developed by Dalian Shipbuilding has obtained the Approval-in-Principle (AIP) certificate issued by the French Bureau of Shipping (BV) and the British Lloyd's Register (LR) respectively.
With a total length of no more than 300 meters and a design draft of 11.5 meters, the ship has the same excellent ship-to-shore compatibility as the 175,000 cubic meter LNG carrier, ensuring efficient loading and unloading in most ports around the world. Compared with the mainstream LNG carrier of 175,000 cubic meters in the market, this ship type has a larger LNG cargo capacity and better energy consumption per ton of nautical miles, which has significant advantages in long-distance voyages.
Sunrui Environment's LNG storage and transportation vessel BOG reliquefaction system has obtained LR and CCS certification
Recently, Sunrui Environment's self-developed marine LNG-BOG reliquefaction system (ORS) has obtained the Principle Approval (AIP) certificate of LR and CCS classification societies. The successful development of ORS is another important breakthrough made by Sunrui Environment in the field of marine LNG application after the marine LNG gas supply system.
The system has the advantages of safe and stable operation, high energy efficiency and easy maintenance, and can meet the BOG liquefaction needs of various types of LNG carriers and large and medium-sized LNG bunkering ships.
