Difference between hot-dip galvanized steel and galvanized steel
The galvanizing of hot-dip galvanized steel is carried out at room temperature, while hot-dip galvanized steel requires the steel to be heated to about 450℃ before galvanizing.
Is hot-dip galvanizing better or cold-dip galvanizing better?
Hot-dip galvanizing and cold-dip galvanizing each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Choosing hot-dip galvanizing or cold-dip galvanizing should consider the application environment, cost and construction requirements. For example, if steel needs to be in a high temperature and highly corrosive environment, hot-dip galvanizing would be more suitable; if cost is considered and the project is small, cold-dip galvanizing with a higher cost can be selected; for construction, hot-dip galvanizing has certain requirements for construction equipment and space, and cold-dip galvanizing construction is relatively flexible.
